In 1992, he graduated from the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School, under the course of V.A. Safronov.
In 1993, he completed the Higher Directing Courses at VGIK, under the guidance of M.I. Tumanishvili.
From 1993 to 1997, he worked as an actor at the State Academic Maly Theatre. He also taught at the Shchepkin Theatre Institute.
In 1999, he directed the play "Romeo and Juliet" by W. Shakespeare at the Russian Youth Theatre, where he also played the role of Tybalt. He also directed the play "The Martian Chronicles" by R. Bradbury.
Since 2005, he has been working as a film director. His portfolio includes well-known films such as "Satisfaction", "Hatred", "Special Correspondent of the Investigation Department", "Gamers", and "Duelist / Gamers 2.0".
